Objective: A pastoral ministry position where my gifts and abilities can be useful to God in proclaiming His faithfulness to all generations, ministering reconciliation to His people, encouraging them into a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and grounding them in the faith and in God’s word through expository teaching.

Commission:
To be the love of God, the light of the world and the salt of the earth
To love people the way God loves people.
To live and share the truth that sets people free.
To always be ready to lend a heart or a hand or a shoulder to lean on or cry on.
To always be ready to love someone into the kingdom of God.

Gifts:
Teaching
To take the great truths of the Bible and to present them in a way that is easy to apprehend and comprehend.

Evangelism
To love people into the kingdom of God by sharing the great truth of the Gospel, that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that the only way to reconcile that separation and to enter into a personal relationship with God is through personal repentance from sin, personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and a personal commitment to follow Him.

Encouragement
To empower believers to reach out to others in Christian love and ministry. Every one of us is uniquely equipped by God to share His love and faithfulness to someone else – to be His heart and His hands and His voice to others in need.

Administration
To see the gifts and abilities in others and to organize and direct them in effective ministry opportunities. To know what needs to be done, who can do what needs to be done, what resources are needed for what needs to be done, and how to direct what needs to be done to actually be done.

Program and Curriculum Development
To zero in on what people need, to determine outcomes, and develop educational curriculum for all ages from the ground up – including course outlines, syllabuses, course materials, catalog descriptions, and textbook lists.
